Two Day Workshop - 2 Tier Wedding Cake Design

A new 2 day course, bringing together the 'on trend' cake painting, sharp edges and deep double barrelled cake.

This course is suitable for those who can already cover cakes using sugarpaste who wish to extend their cake covering skills working on tall cakes. If you are a beginner we recommend you attend our Sponge Cake Covering Skills workshop.

Working on real cakes (bottom tier) and a faux/dummy cake (top tier) you will learn the following skills:

- How to prepare, support & cover multi layers of cake with a professional finishPainted 2Tier_Bloom_LC

- How to coat cakes using chocolate ganache

- How to cover deep faux/dummy cakes

- How to achieve sharp sugarpaste edges

- Transferring designs onto a coated cake

- Painting floral designs using cocoa butter on dark coloured sugarpaste

- Improve your pressure piping skills using royal icing

- How to stack, secure and transport tall cakes

A new 2 day course, bringing together 'on trend' abstract cake painting skills with a beautiful icy winter colour themed spray of wired sugar flowers.Winter Hues 3

This course is suitable for those who wish to learn how to professionally ganache coat cakes with sharp edge finish and extend their sugar flower making skills. If you are a beginner we recommend you attend our Introduction to Sugar Flower Skills workshop.

Working on real cakes (bottom tier) and a faux/dummy cake (top tier) you will learn the following skills:

- How to prepare and coat a deep cake using whitened chocolate ganache with a flawless sharp edged finish.

-How to achieve an abstract paint effect using basic tools and a selection of cocoa butter colours.

- How to stack, secure and transport tall cakes.

- How to make wired Hydrangea Flowers, Sea Holly & Berries in sugar.
